AS OF AUGUST 22, 2009, THE CHAT FEATURE HAS BEEN DISABLED, BUT YOU MAY STILL LEAVE A QUESTION! CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES. TEMS Supervisors will be available at the following times to answer your questions:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10:00am to Noon
Sunday: 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Click to chat LIVE with a TEMS Supervisor. Your chat will open in a new window and you will be assigned a random, private, and anonymous user name.
TEMS utilizes the chat client Meebo to provide you with this service. The TEMS Supervisor can answer any questions you may have regarding policies, procedures, or services of Tulane EMS. Additionally, they can help you locate vital resources and information for your health and wellbeing while at Tulane or Loyola University. If they don't know the answer, they will point you in the right direction. The service is not intented to diagnoise, treat, or cure any illness, sickness, or disease that you may have. There is no substitute for face to face evaluation by medical personnel. If you have an urgent medical need or require evaluation by a physician, you may call the Tulane Uptown Student Health Center at 504-865-5255 or Loyola Student Health Services at 504-865-3326. If this is an urgent medical emergency, or you are unsure if your symptoms may be related to a serious emergency, then do not hesitate to contact the Tulane University Police Department at 504-865-5200 or Loyola University Police Department at 504-865-3434 for immediate dispatch of Tulane EMS.
If you are unable to attend these chats, then feel free to submit a question using the instructions below. Answers to your questions will be posted under the "Questions and Answers" section of this webpage. Questions will be answered on a weekly basis, with new answers posted by Monday mornings during the academic year under the Questions and Answers section.
